Listen, Go, and Do.

And the Lord said to him, "Get up and go to the street called Straight, and
inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is
praying." (Acts 9:11)

Connecting The Dots - Week 4 "Obedience"

Hi all, this coming Monday, 10/20 we will be on "Obedience" and the way that it applies to our daily lives according to God's economy.

Key Verse: "Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice" (1 Samuel 15:22 NIV)

My understanding, and the direction I'm gonna go with, is that God always Loves us and calls us to Love, His desire is for always for our good and the good of those who Love Him. Our obedience is always blessing for us when we choose it. "What does God seek to accomplish through any of of us?" is a simple question with a simple answer. Every single thing we do that aligns us with the desire of His heart, which is found everywhere in His Word, is a move toward that end. We have been given the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:11-16)
